Halcyone Days offers a rare glimpse into the collaborative work of Turku-based letterpress printer Sakari Männistö and Norwegian type designer Frode Helland. Working from the historical collections of the Regia Academiæ Aboensis – the first Finnish printing press to establish in Turku in 1642 – the duo is reimagining a new set of wood type printing fonts.
